The animated sequences present continuously changing spatial structures. One floats through endlessly evolving color fields. Successions of virtual interiors are similar but never identical, making it impossible to retain where one has been. Memory succumbs to randomizing variations ineluctably moving forward, never reaching an end.
The interiors are not realistic but mathematically rendered space, where randomizing program variables control movement and form that cannot be predicted.
Conventional notions of architectural stability and permanence dissolve.
The weightless and dreamlike movement forward creates in the viewer a hypnotic stasis much like deep meditation.
In the videos artwork is not material, but software code. The code renders the dynamic spaces, in endless variations. The computer actually becomes the active creative image-producing device of color field variations autonomously structured in space and time.
